Can I add code to allow for a search of my website only?

I know code and want to add a site search that is similar to one that Google Gadgets had about a year or so ago and then they just dropped it. I ended up with "holes" where it had been and want to allow my webpartners to be able to search for various pages within my site. Thank you so much for any info!

Hello Gale,

Freefind is a great alternative.

I found quite a few really good reviews about this search engine. Do you know of any sites that actually use Freefind? I'd like to see what it looks like -- just to see how it might perform on our site. Thanks for such a quick response :^)

Hi Gale. I haven't used Freefind but I can recommend https://swiftype.com/. If you want to see it in action, check it out here: http://www.indabacounselling.co.uk/. I found it easy to set up, it indexed my whole site quickly and I like the way you can customize how you display the search results. They also have analytics so that you can see what search queries people are entering on your site and refine your content accordingly.
