Hello Rivkah

If Drake Software provides you with HTML code to embed into a website, it may work, using the Yola HTML Code Widget. However, we cannot guarantee this. As much as I can see from the link you posted, it looks like you will have your own site with them, so it would make sense to contact their Support to find out if they offer anything to embed into existing websites.

Hi Stefan, thanks for answering. I wasn't planning on having a site with drake since I'm already working on a yola site. I'm trying to figure out if I have to switch....

Hi Rivkah,

Let's go back two steps and determine what specifically you are trying to accomplish with File Pro. What is it you need your website to accomplish? Once we know this we may be able to offer suggestions or solutions that we know work with Yola.

Laura, thanks for your reply.
I need to allow my clients to upload documents to my website so that I can easily access them and use them to prepare their tax returns, bookkeeping, etc. I also need to allow them to download tax returns that I have prepared, and whatever other documents are in their file.. I hope they can do this with a un and pw.

Hello Rivkah

This sounds like it would require a membership login with a safe https connection (as John outlined above). Yola doesn't offer a membership feature at the moment, but our developers are discussing it.

There are Yola users who have added membership solutions offerred by third-party providers to their Yola websites. However, I'm not sure if those would meet your specific needs. If you want to have a look, here is a thread where Yola users post links to and their experience with membership login providers.

Otherwise it would be worthwhile to find out from Drake Software if they provide a solution which can be embedded into one's own website.

Adding on, I would suggest that this doesn't all need to be embedded into your website Rivkah. Just last month I worked with a professional photographer who has a lovely website to promote her business. Once she had my proofs ready for me she sent them to me securely via a third party program, Hightail. Granted, in this case, she was the only one sending files so she had the account and I did not, but you may want to research similar solutions that are not necessarily integrated into your website adding a level of complexity that is not needed in order to promote your business online.
