Can I centre a banner?

I have resized my banner on my site as it was rather large, and it looks good, but I would really like it centred. I have a 2 column homepage, and the banner is to the left slightly - I would prefer it centred over the middle of the 2 columns. Can we add html code above the banner to do this?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Sal

Are you using the banner area to upload your banner? If so, if you click on your banner area - a banner editing box will come up. Click on "Resize" (even though I know you're not resizing). Click on your banner image and you can drag it slightly over to the right - you'll have to eyeball it to see if it's centered.

If you're not using the banner area and you want to center your image. You'll first need to add your image via the HTML on your text toolbar widget. Then, go into the HTML, and add a center tag. So, it would look like this:
<center><img src="YOUR IMAGE URL GOES HERE"></center>

I hope that helps!

Hello Sal

Unfortunately, you cannot delete the banner area. Instead, I would use a template that does not use a banner such as NoFrills or Squeaky Clean. Then, you can add your HTML for your banner.
