Can i create a link to a specific area on a page on my site www.webwander.co.uk

What i mean if where to seperate one of my pages say http://www.webwander.co.uk/ENTERTAINM... into three different areas such as companies selling dvds, music and books would i be able to have a visitor click on dvd and navigate them to the dvd area on this page and so on ?

I want to be able to do this without having to split into three different pages as want to keep my page numbers down.

I have noticed many other sites enabling this option of being directed to a certain area of a page so any help would be great.

Hi Ethan

This is an interesting request. We do not have a feature at this time that would allow you to have multiple URL's for sections within a page. I would need to talk to our developers and find out if this could be possible in future.

In the meantime a workaround would be to remove pages from your main menu and link to them. See this tutorial that deals with this in greater detail: http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/c...

Hi ethan0904,

You could try having anchor links on your page. It's a little bit complicated to do, but there is a tutorial here that may help you. http://ide.synthasite.com/sites/Db5c/...

Hi ethan0904,

Yes, it is possible to use images as your links. Use the code from point 2, under the explanation section above your images.

Please let me know if that doesn't work for you.

When you link to anchors on external pages use this syntax:
Place this just above the position you would like to jump to:
<!--
<a name="anchor1"></a>
-->
Leave out the <!-- and the -->

anchor1 can be any name you choose.

Make a link pointing to the anchor:

h ttp://yoursite.synthasite.com/yourpage.php#anchor1

Take out the space between the "h" and the "ttp"

Substitute the "yoursite" ,"yourpage" and "anchor1"
with your own info.

Sorry Ruth but it seems you cannot copy / paste the code from
your tutorial because it does not have the double quotes e.g.
it has 'a1' instead of "a1"

Here's also another tutorial for you Ethan.
