I have a couple of questions:
1. How do I copy the entire site to a new one - so I can make language changes to it and leave the original as is.
2. How can I get a domain with the .cn extention (for china)?

Hello ido,

At this time it is not possible to duplicate a site. The best advice we can give you is to use your current site as a guideline while recreating it.

In regards to a .cn domain, we do not offer this option at Yola. If you are a Yola Silver customer, you are welcome to purchase this domain at an external registrar and point it to Yola's IP address (

You are welcome to read more about our Silver package here: Yola Silver FAQ.

Hi ido,

As Brianna said, it is not posssible to make a copy of your previously made site now. But if you want to make your site bilingual, there is another way to do it. How? Let's see this.

I also have built my website in two languages previously. There is one index page, showing only the 2 links to the group of pages in the same language. Each page has a "sister" page in the other language, using the "save as" function. The menu issue is a little tricky, but not too complicated to make the new menus with a good (and free) menu generator. Using one, you don't need to deal with any special HTML coding, just follow the instructions of the menu generator. I used this one: - it was very easy to use (thank you, Ed!). For further information see the following topic, hopefully you could find it useful:

This is about my first steps and you can find a lot of useful information I've got about the topic of "how to create a 2 language website using Yola?"

I hope that you'll find this information useful. Happy sitebuilding!:)
