I had a go with Nabble but their forums look a bit bland. I find the forum of forumotion matches the look of my site. Can I embed that forum or do I have to add a button with a link? Thanks guys.

If you are given an HTML code to embed your forum into a web-page then generally this can be done. If not then an option is to bring it onto a page with an IFRAME or as you mention you could link to it if you wish.

I don't know if formumotion give us a html. I'm a bit confused by it all. Do you have any more information about this IFRAME you mention? Thanks. :)

Here's a tool that sets it out for you. You just need to copy and paste the HTML generated by the tool:

erm I managed to work the iframe thing and copied the html and stuck it into the box on the screen but the box is not big enough I can only see a tiny bit of the forum rather than actually use it. This is really related to my second question of how to make the boxes larger. Can anybody help please?

The style you have selected for your site isn't good for such a requirement. This is because the wrapper for content is quite narrow. In your case specifically I would use a link to the forum rather than trying to bring it in (Unless you wish to change your style to a wider variety)
