I would like to have my banner link to my home page. I am using a Premium template and I've read that this isn't currently an option. Is there a workaround or a plan to add this feature - it's so common on websites.

Hi Maria,

This is a relatively simply process. All you need to do is upload your banner as an image file and add it using either the image widget, or by clicking "insert image" on the text editing toolbar to add the banner inside a text widget.

You then need to turn the banner image into an active link using the Yola link editor :

1. Add the image to your page, using the image widget
2. Click on 'Properties' on the right-hand sidebar
3. Click on 'Choose a Link' and make your selection
4. Click on Apply

To check that your link is working, preview your page and then click on the link.

NOTE: If you add an image in a text widget, simply highlight it and click "insert link" on the text editing toolbar and follow the same steps as above. The icon looks like three links of a chain.

I think you misunderstand my quest. If a person is on any page other than my home page, and I have the same banner image on every page (which happens to have my logo incorporated) - I would like them to be able to click on my logo and return to the Home page.

Isn't this automatic? Of course it wouldn't be the whole banner, but if someone clicks on the page title (within the banner) doesn't it automatically return home? Mine does!

Click on the page title "Monthly Newsletter" and you'll see it returns to the homepage. Monthly Newsletter

Hello Maria

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make your banner area into a link. Kershnee's advice is the best workaround for this. Otherwise, you can just click on the page heading and that will take you back to the index page. I'm sorry that I don't have other alternatives for you.
