Can I make a page automatically redirect to another site without META tags...?

Hi, on some websites, when I go to a page, it goes straight to another page. For example, if I go to http://getsatisfaction.com/me it goes to another page right away without showing the getsatisfaction.com/me Try it, go to http://getsatisfaction.com/me and it will go to your profile without showing the other page. Can I do this, or is this done with .htaccess? I think it is, but, if there is another way, can anyone let me know.

Thanks!

I am not aware of a way to do this. Hopefully someone else may be able to jump in with some ideas!
