Can I minimize or lose the default page headers?

Is there any way (free or premium) to lose the title at the top of each Yola page? If not, can I at least reduce its font size or the border height? It is not-attractive and makes readers scroll too much before they can read. I like everything else about my template, but that fat header bugs me every time I load a page. It looks very "Web 1.0" and it makes it especially obvious that I am using a template.

Hello Solar Bullet

You can certainly delete the page headings if you wish. Please follow these steps:

1. Click on the page heading text.
2. In the dialogue box, delete the page heading text.
3. Hit "enter" or "OK".

The default text will then be removed from the top of your page.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.

Thanks for the prompt reply! That did solve half the problem. The header is gone. But the big bunch of empty space at the top remains, meaning the reader still has to scroll. Is there any way to lose or lessen the default size of that space?

There are two ways that I can think of to address the negative space at the top.

If you are using either a text widget or image widget at the top, click on the widget. Then, go to Properties and enter in a negative number in the top margin box. This should pull your widgets higher on the page.

The other alternative is to use a template which does not have a banner space such as No Frills or Squeaky Clean.

I hope that helps!
