Can I remove the shading over the header on Corporate Blue template?

Can I take the shading off of the Corporate Blue paid template? I have bought it and got a header made as considerable cost, and the template is covering it with shading.
My page is here: http://anyventure.yolasite.com/

I am wondering if the shading can be de-activated? As it is quite annoying to be ruining my header.

Many thanks for any help!

Hello Will

I can understand why you would like to have the shading deactivated. Unfortunately, this is part of the style's design. Perhaps, you may want to consider making a custom banner where the sides are grey so that it blends into the shading and having your image more towards the middle.

If you are not happy with this style's design, I hope that you can find a different one that will meet your needs.

You could try this:

<style type="text/css">
div.ys_banner_overlay
{
height: 259px;
background:url(templates/Corporate_Blue/resources/gray-frame1.png) top left no-repeat;
behavior: url(templates/Corporate_Blue/resources/iepngfix1.htc)
}
</style>

I have not tested this - add the code to a html widget at the top of the page.

Let me know if it dosnt work and we'll try something else.

Lee.

Ok thanks for that, so do you mean just add that in a widget on the page and it might help? Not exactly sure how to implement it otherwise

Thanks a lot

Hi Will,

if you add the code to a html widget at the top of the page it will remove the shadow - let me know if it works for you.

I just tested it and it seems to work for me.

Top of the page as in just below the header? I dont think you can add a widget any higher than below header right?

Thanks so much for your help so far

I added it to a widget below the header and no change, maybe take the header off first and then do it?

Hi Will,
it should work - it worked for me.

You dont need to remove the banner.

Make sure you add all this code.

---------------------------------start-----------------------------------------

<style type="text/css">
div.ys_banner_overlay
{
height: 259px;
background:url(templates/Corporate_Blue/resources/gray-frame1.png) top left no-repeat;
behavior: url(templates/Corporate_Blue/resources/iepngfix1.htc)
}
</style>

-----------------------------------end----------------------------------------------

Hi Will

Make sure that when you copy the code, that each line is broken up exactly as shown here. If it's not, then it can cause your code to not work.

HI UK DUKE,

Thank you so much for that. I have followed this advise and it is perfect. The trouble is i have rounded edges underneath and I would really like a square edge so there is no gap.

Could you help at all?

Many thanks
