You can use any domain type you wish for Yola. Yola don't have a number of various Top Level Domains (TLD's) but if you purchase such from a dealer then you can point these to Yola's servers. There are tutorials for doing this within the library of Yola Tutorials.

Not all domain resellers will carry all TLD's so you will need to locate a reseller that does. .net domains though are widely available.

When you say that you are being offered a TLD then are you referring to a free offer like GBBO? If so that is the TLD that they are offering free. Other domains are generally commercial transactions

In our system I can see that you are a GBBO customer. If you participate in GBBO, you are only offerred a domain. This is because the aim of the GBBO partner programme is to take British business online.

You are welcome to add another domain, such as one with a .net extension, especially if you target a worldwide audience. For this domain you would need to pay additionally. It is still useful considering to add another domain because no one else will be able to take it and use your business name, and it can have a positive effect on search engines.

However, you may want to rethink the extension .net and e.g. go for a .com domain because .net domains are usually not designed for business websites.
