can my readers submit images on my site?

I want my readers to submit photos to a particular section of my site. Though they can mail me the photos, i m just curious to know if there is any way to submit the photos to synthasite or any associated widget..

I have had this exact same problem. You could do what I do though and make a snazy little form. I use JotForm :) www.jotform.com

I dont have any products, i am trying to build up a gallery of henna tattoo designs, which is very famous in India and neighboring countries. So i can expect to get good no. of pictures and good no. of viewers to see them!!

Oh, ok. That link I gave you earlier (Flektor) is, I think, the best for making cool looking galleries. Smugmug is really good too :)

Hi Monica,

Right now it is not possible for visitors to upload photo's or even files directly to
your site. All content on your site needs to be posted by you. As you mentioned, they can email it to you, maybe consider adding an email link on your site.

To add an email link to your website you can either type in your link text or use an image (use the "insert image" icon on the text editing toolbar toadd an image inside a text widget).
1. Highlight the text or image and click "insert link" on the text editing toolbar.
2. A link editor will open up and the third option in the link editor
dialogue box allows you to create a link to an email address.
3. Simply type in your email address and click "ok" To test that the
link is working, save and preview your page. When you click on your
email link, an email will open up in your default email program with
the address already filled in.
