Hello VH,.

Synthasite doesn't have a registration process yet for admission to a site for individual members. You can have a passsword protected site but that is a single PW for everyone. If membership is a security aspect then it's not a good way

You can place a message board on your site and only allow registered members to make entries. This is a function of the message board nt Synthasite. People are required to register first. You then can accept their registration and agree to their membership. Alternatively you can allow anyone to register and if they misbehave themselves kick them out :)

Most of the message boards have this option. Some you can make the sign up obligatory for any entry others allow casual entries or registered member entries.

Hi VH,

Unfortunately we don't have a member register and login feature yet, but we hope to add it in future. We know that many people would like to have people register for accounts and have logins for their sites. We will need to do quite a bit of development to make this possible, so please be patient while we work on this.

This might not be quite what you had in mind, but you might want to try using Google Friend Connect - http://www.google.com/friendconnect/. You can find information on how to add it to your site on this thread on our forum Adding Google Friend Connect - http://getsatisfaction.com/SynthaSite.... Let us know if this service meets your needs or if you have additional requirements as this will help inform our planning.

Even without a login feature, you can still add a message to your site. Here's how to:
If you want to use a box widget that supports deleting of messages, you can try out a box at [cbox](http://www.cbox.ws/). Here are the steps:

1. Go to cbox.ws - http://www.cbox.ws/ and register for free.
2. You can then copy the code from the 'get the code' text area.
3. Go to SynthaSite and drag and drop an HTML widget onto your page and paste your code into the HTML editor.
4. You should then have a new box.
5. To administer the box (delete messages/block users etc.), simply log into cbox.ws - http://www.cbox.ws/ click on the 'Admin' tab and then the 'messages' menu item on the left
