Hi sunshine

Right now we do not have a feature that allows people to register on your site We know that this would be a really useful feature, but we are going to have to do a lot of planning and hard work to make it happen. We are not in a position to make any promises about when this feature will be available.

Best wishes
Monique

Monique is right on about this feature. We see this is a very useful thing, and are thinking about it in the context of other features that we collectively call "Member Services". To do this right, we're planning how best to do it.

Detailed suggestions from our community would be a great help to our planning. For instance, what information would you absolutely need to store about people who register on your site? What information would be nice to have, but not necessary? What would you provide to users who register: access to one additional area, increased communications, etc.?

Thanks for your input.

I can help with the detalied suggestions! Well first, the reason I want this registered thing is because I want people on my site to access special feature's when they register. Example, on my site, one of my tabs will be my profile. You will have to register to create you'r very own web page! There can be a blog, and they can design it whatever they want! Second, one of my other tabs will be my media. They will have to register to load you'r fav. songs, and share it with their friedns! If that's possible. The inforamtion would be, to let them know that registering is free, and that noone will steal there e-mail addresses. This register thing i very inporntant to my site, but I live without it if you can't do it. Hope that helps!

I want people to register so that they have their own profiles at my site, people would be able to publish articles at my site.
I should also be able to send emails and messages directly to all site members at once either in their profile inbox or email address.
Members can also communicate with each other through messages.
This would get them more involved and they would spend more time on my site and revisit it often

Hey Sivaraman.

Synthasite has not developed it "yet". Tho in the future yes. In the meanwhile i suggest you use google friend connect. Tho upon using it make sure you skip the uploading file bit as its already applied to your site

http://www.google.com/friendconnect

Please let me know if need help or have a question

Are you looking for a private messaging system in Get Satisfaction? If so, I have to tell you that there isn't one, I'm sorry.
