Can yola give me an opinion and help me decide on which one to use?

I have decided on an update for my pages, I need to implement it before my website gets to large to do so since yola doesn't offer automatic changes through the entire site... but I want to know if yola likes my new formatting or the old formatting...

New formatting... http://www.youcanneverbetoosmart.info...
Old formatting... http://www.youcanneverbetoosmart.info...

Please give your honest opinions. Remember, the new formatting is just a rough draft and may actually look better in it's final.

it looks like a blank site to me... but if you basically wanted an opinion on the look and design of it, it's very nice... choose your colors wisely, don't want to create any headaches, I'm trying to fix mine to a more pleasant fix. I would probably do white for yours, or the default color might be good also! :)

By the way, yola should offer automatic changes throughout the site... if you can't for free yola, maybe you can include it in yola pro or something, now that would be worth paying for.

Give us the option to "select text" "make selected text title, sub-title 1, sub-title 2, etc." - how would you like to change your title? "from Large text, light blue to XLarge text orange" - then ALL titles throughout site change.

By the way, if you haven't looked at my other thread about domains, it would be very appreciated to know if that's possible with yola.

the problem I'm having with creating the border is that I can't manage to change the color and it's blending in too much with the blue. I think I might just increase the text size of titles and sub titles slightly... and change up the colors.

My text right now is copied from word... 14 pt for titles, 13.5 for sub title one, 13 for sub title two, 12 for sub title three ... which is too close in size to the previous type of title. I'm thinking about getting rid of my Microsoft Word formatting and dealing with Yola's limited formatting... but I'll have to justify manually and indent first line of paragraph's manually (a pain in the but)... and I'll use the Large, Medium, Normal, and Small fonts... small fonts will only be used in the rare circumstance I get a sub title three (which is a title within sub title two). My main text will be normal... all my text will be arial... I think Arial is the easiest to read!

Colors will have to change a bit. My main text right now is yellow which looks nice... but yola doesn't have yellow (A MAIN POPULAR COLOR) - that have yellowish green, but that's the closest they get.

Yola really needs to add justified alignment and enable the tab button to indent the FIRST LINE ONLY as in MS Word.

If you click on the indent button it indents the whole paragraph.

Numbers aren't the way they should be in my opinion...

I've always been use to different number types with indents...

1.
2.
----a.
----b.
--------i.
--------ii.

These are some suggestions, wish they would happen, then yola would be so much more pleasant (in my opinion) - although, yola's probably the best out there... the others suck! LOL!

and by the way... if you get the chance... ready my newly created blog.. apart from yola, hope to get additional traffic this way...

Ignore the video, that's just an advertisement I get points for and eventually... in about twenty years, get a good prize.

Also, all external links (leading away from my site) will open in a new window or tab via the option I discovered today.

Donald for your editing in Word. If I were you I would edit in Notepad if its html your editing. if your using Word and dropping it into a text box you should just save time and edit it directly in the text box. remember Yola does the work for you by allowing you to pick and choose fonts and colors. It does all the html for you.

well, yea, I'm actually going to do that just because it's less of a headache because of the bad code in WORD but I think you misunderstand the purpose of editing in word. The formatting can be more defined. borders and tables are nearly impossible to do in yola, because you have to know the size... whereas word automatically adjusts it to the text. More colors, yola doesn't even have yellow (yellowish green is closest) - yellow's my main color! Indenting the first line of a paragraph can be done with the tab bar, justifying text is done with the click of a button (in yola you must go into the html and do each paragraph individually). And there are SO many more reasons why I prefer Word's formatting over Yola's but word is making things difficult to copy and paste into yola, and I think it's based on updates yola makes. Back when I started, nothing was wrong with pasting word, now, everytime yola shuts down, wor'ds code is worse. If I copy and paste into yola from word, it adds a 3 inch space in between paragraphs... something that didn't happen before one of the recent updates (say for example, three weeks ago it did not happen:). But, I guess I'm going to use yola's formatting, I've chosen some colors out of there that will be suitable... just one thing though,

I need to know how to add an indent to the first line... if you see my ms word code, TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in; is in the code. I try to place that into yola's code in the appropriate place, and it doesn't work.

Do you know how to do this? I like my paragraphs indented (not the whole paragraph like the indent button does but just the first line - like in a book)

you know, I actually found a feature on yola's tool bar I didn't know existed, and it's the remove formatting that's on there which helps to save time... but I tried that button with word pasted text and it didn't work properly. But if I copy from the web, I can bypass notepad, paste into a text widget, and remove formatting before starting fresh formatting. However, like I said above, I don't care too much for yola's formatting options as I believe word's has so many more options that I actually do use.
