Hello Reader

Unfortunately the Yola Online Store widgets don't yet offer this feature. However, you can add to your site by visiting PayPa and customizing the code so that you can have a selection of options on your site. Here's how:

1. Sign into your PayPal account.
2. Click the "Merchant services" tab in the horizontal menu.
3. Click the "Buy Now Button" or the "Add to Cart Button".
4. Choose button type and enter name and payment details.
5. Check the "Add drop-down menu with price/option" box half-way down the page.
6. Add the details of your selection.
7. Click "Done".
8. When done editing click "Create Button".
9. In the next window and in the (Website) code box click the "Select Code".
10. Right click on the highlighted text and click "Copy".
11. Open your site editor and drag an HTML Widget where you need it.
12. In the HTML Widget paste the code.
13. Then republish your site.

For detailed information on using PayPal, please view PayPal's Website Payments Standard Intergration Guide (5.8mb PDF)

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Wow, John. I didn't know PayPal lets you use drop downs for price variations. Is that in the button variables section? Very nice.

By the way, how did you learn so much about integrating PayPal buttons? Was it just from reading the guide Sanja linked, from forums or through trial and error?

Thank you for your kind comments....I just read and followed the instructions on PayPal....Once you try a few variations yourself you will see it is actually really easy.Although I have not read up on the tax and shipping options on PayPal as I have not had a need to do so.....so I would not be much help on that part. One of the points I always try to make concerning all the things we need to learn is that most all of it ends up being easy once you do it....The problem is the volumes of information we deal with and have to sift through until we find exactly what it is that we want.

Hello John....No I don't make the items on my site. The owner of the company in Thailand that does is a friend and former employer of mine when he used to live in the USA...I was his purchasing manager in a different industry.I do hope to get back to my own art creations on tile soon.Need to do some rethinking on how to make it cost effective where I can be priced competitively.
