Can you make life easy for Adobe InDesign page-flipping-book HTML files?

All I want to do is FTP, or otherwise upload with no thought or effort on my part, an HTML file of a page-flipping e-commerce brochure, produced with once click in Adobe InDesign (the industry standard application for producing magazines and brochures) that invokes -- I think?? an Adobe SWF ?? file (in other words I have NO idea what is in that file HTML -- and no idea what HTML is, for that matter) and have that HTML file run automatically, thereby presenting the logger-on with our page-flipping brochure without the logger-on having to click on anything. Any idea how to do this? Adobe grafted this rudimentary, page-flipping from from the hideously complex Adobe Flash onto Adobe InDesign precisely so that commercial artists such as myself could be with-it, hip web designers and charge our clients big bucks without actually knowing what we are doing. in other words, you have a market opportunity here. If you post how to do this on Adobe blogs, you will be beloved by commercial artists around the world and you will get a bunch of customers you would not have otherwise gotten. As Steve Martin said in The Jerk, "Oh! I get it. It's a profit deal!" And as The King used to say, "Thankyouverymuch! Thankyouverymuch! Thankyouverymuch! "

Charles there is no need to go through the (often) nightmares involved with uploading PDFs, SWFs as well as JS files then to figure out the code needed to make it work on your site when there are much easier (and cheaper) ways to place a cool and very professional PDF page flipping book or magazine on your Yolasite.

Flipsnack is a prime example of a wonderful toolset that has more features than you can shake a stick at.

* Great assortment of templates (hard cover, soft cover, spiral or magazine)
* Wide selection of custom backgrounds
* Ability to edit the PDF later to add or delete pages or change settings with ease
* User defined adjustable sizes
* Full control of the control settings
* Awesome viewer interface, controls and full screen option
* Ability for your visitors to share/like your page flipper with others

Pretty much an awesome all around product that is offered FREE with a minor watermark before the flipper begins. If you require or want the watermark to disappear there is a nominal cost per use/feature. I think that the monthly pro account is relatively cheep and it allows for unlimited use of all the SnackTools product line which includes:

* BannerSnack
* PhotoSnack
* PodSnack
* TubeSnack
* QuizSnack
* FlipSnack

I just did a test on my site and it embeds perfectly.

My site already has a bunch of flash on it so it might load slower than normal but on your page it should be much faster. I have been using SnackTools for years now and have always been both impressed with their tools as well as more than satisfied with their service.

To use FlipSnack you simply upload your PDF file (up to 500 pages) adjust your settings and copy the embed code to an HTML widget on your site. It is as easy as that without the need to figure out the SWF or HTML part of it all. No files to upload to your file manager and no scripts to write. Couldn't be simpler...

Give it a try, I am sure that you will find it headache free. ;)

Happy site building
