I know that you can prefill a subject line when providing a link to an email somehow... but can you prefill the message section?

Yes you can and it's most reliable and easy to do with PHP, but you can with html.

<!--

<a href="mailto:youremailaddress@isp.net?subject=Your Subject Line goes here&body=This is the text that will appear in the body of the message.">Email US.</a

-->

I don't mind helping you out, but www.google.com should be the first place to look ;)

yea, ok... thanks.

I tend to get better responses here. I sometimes have to spend an hour or two on google to find an answer. Here, I can type a question and go do something else while I wait for an answer. I'll look on google first if I believe the answer will be easy to find. but having a word such as "email" in a search in google would probably pull up 10 million unrelevant searches.

However, I just tested it by searching google, "can you prefill an email message" and the answer was actually first, which I thought would be unusual... but thanks anyways!
