Why is my website not found when searched? Many people have tried to access the website and cannot. They cannot find it even when they type in the website address (http://nemipri.yolasite.com and http://www.nemipri.org).

Hi Jessica,

Your site is up when I click on this link: http://www.nemipri.org/

Could you let us know what you see when you click on the link?

It won't be coming up on search because it's not yet indexed by search engines. We have more information on that on this link: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

Marije- I had a customer try to access the website by typing the above address (http://www.nemipri.org) into their address bar, and the website did not come up. I realize that it is not idexed yet, however shouldn't it come up when someone directly enters the address into the address bar???

I didn't mean searching for the website via google, no one can access it even when they type the address into their address bar. Shouldn't it come up when someone directly enters the address into the address bar??? And, I'm not sure what you meant above about the website propagating about the internet...please excuse me, I'm a newbie at this stuff!

Hi Jessica
Have you recently updated your DNS records after the DoS attack? If you've changed them, they will 'propagate' throughout the internet, which means the update will spread across the globe, chances are the changes have propagated at mine and Marije's end but not at yours.
Please let me know if you don't understand

Ok, I have read previous problems posted in regard to changing the DNS to a new one. Do I delete the old ones listed??? And what DNS's do I need to enter (two I'm guessing, one for each of the web addresses???)

Point both of your A records to 184.72.229.176

Ok, I edited them and added the new DNS above. How long will it take for the changes to take effect?

I can take up to 24 hours to propagate completely

Forget that Jessica, I checked your DNS records and they are correctly pointed, just wait for it to propagate, try clearing your cache

I changed the DNS numbers to the above. Will this matter? I dont know what the previous were, I unfortunately didn't write them down. How do I clear the cache?

The DNS changes do matter, but have changed them so it doesn't matter any more

Hi Jessica,

Yes, your site is published properly and the caching you are seeing is only on your computer, it is fine from elsewhere!

Kind Regards,
Emmy
