Cannot access my website for editing. A red bar comes up in center of screen saying "Loading Site: AAA US Parcel Pickup" with a rotating status bar but nothing ever comes of it. When I try to take a snapshot of it, this is what it says "404. That’s an error.
The requested URL /search?sourceid=navclient-menuext&ie=UTF-8&q=cache:http%3A%2F%2Fsitebuilder.yola.com%2Fen_US%2Fide%2Findex.jsp%3Fsiteid%3D8a4986cb201949de01203568d6d07416 was not found on this server. That’s all we know. "

Hello Dan,

Can you please share your domain URL so that we can take a closer look at this? The Sitebuilder URL does not work for us.

Thanks for sharing this information, Dan.

I was able to open your site just fine in the sitebuilder as well as online:

Are you still seeing an error code? If so, please share a screenshot with us. You can visit this page for steps on taking a screenshot: Google results for taking a screenshot.

Thanks!

I have tried it on two different computers now. When I try to open it for editing, the red bar in the center appears saying "loading site: AAA US Parcel Pickup" but the site never loads. Please help us figure this out because we are trying to add a Christmas promotion and we are considering publishing another site through yola.

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your reply. I would like to review some troubleshooting steps with you:

1) Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.
2) Check that you are using an updated version of Flash - click on this link.
3) Check your privacy settings in your browser. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: Accept cookies.
4) Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: Enable Javascript.
5) Make sure you are using an updated version of your browser.
6) Try loading the site in a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer).
7) Try loading the site on a different computer or network if possible.

If you could please take a moment to review and try each of the above steps, it would greatly help to troubleshoot the error at hand. Thanks, Dan!

Hi Brianna,

I can access the sites from my home computer but not the one here at work.

The work computer is the one I need to access it on. I used your advice and cleared the cache, updated Flash, cookies were already being accepted, Javascript was already enabled, Internet Explorer 7.0 was already updated but I updated Windows XP...but I still cannot access the sites. Any more suggestions?

Thanks for your help ~

Just as a note, this is the original computer we have been using for all of our site work so we are not sure why it used to be able to load it and now it cannot.

Hey Dan this works for similar situations. I cannot guaranty that it will work for this but it is worth a shot...

1) Open a blank tab in your browser. (keep it blank)
2) Open your yola site builder in a new tab
3) As soon as the red loading bar appears quickly click the blank tab from step (1)
4) When (hopefully) the tab for the site builder shows that the page is finished loading click on your site builder tab.

That works for many similar loading issues when I am having difficulties.

If that doesn't work then is can be any number of things. Give this a try though...

A watched sitebuilder never loads... (Like the teapot... LOL okay well I thought that it was funny)

Happy site building
Ed

Hi Dan,

I hope that Ed's suggestions help! Also, please check your security settings on your computer. Try disabling any programs like spam blocker, ad blocker, pop-up blocker, Firewall etc..

Since you are able to access your Sitebuilder on a different computer, this suggests that most likely the issue lies within your work's computer and not with the Sitebuilder itself.

Please keep us apprised of what happens!
