Cannot publish Yola website to my domain

I have 2 domain names, both pointing to Yola. www.domain.com loads my website (or in some cases the yola landing page since the propogation hasn't yet completed).

However, if I try and add the domain domain.co.uk or try to publish a website to the domain, Yola tells me the domain isn't pointing to Yola. The IP address is correct in both config records and the website loads the Yola landing page. Please would someone tell me what I have done wrong so that I can get my website published?

Hi pikles,

Would you know if both A records are correctly interpreted? ie. the www and the non-www. are showing correctly in your registrars DNS manager. An easy way to check this is with a third party tool like http://www.mxtoolbox.com

Into the query box type:
a:www.yourdomain.com

and subsequently a second search:
a:yourdomain.com

Thanks for the tip. Both records have the correct IP address. Is that what you mean?

Yes. Thanks for going through the process. I presume that you picked up that I used .com instead of your need .co.uk, apologies on this.

Sometimes the input of the non-www using for example the shortcut @ doesn't take even though it appears to. It's only by examining the records independently that this becomes apparent.

The Yola DNS people will need to pick-up on this and see what is happening their side.

Hello pickles

To assist you with this issue, we'd need more than general information about your domain name. So I'd suggest that you send us your request as an e-mail via our Contact Support Form. This way it would be easier for us to connect you with your Yola account and protect your privacy. Thanks.
