cannot upload jpg format images to the website, they say I need a widget? the largest file is only 31kb and what is a widget and why cannot it be downloaded? I'm getting frustrated as I worked on this for several hour. I blew off an important seminar trying to do this several ways without any luck. I think I'll have a drink to chill.

Hi Eric figuered out how to upload images on my homepage. Still can't figure out how to use flickr or smugmug. the window with the tree does not come up. I'm building a store website, I figuered out how to use the sell your products widget, the fotos are to large and takes up to much space. I have 100's of products, with that foto size my customers would have a hard time navigating and in turn I would lose business. Any suggestions?

Hi Rob

I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling and I am glad that Eric directed you to the appropriate forum!

The Flickr and Smugmug widgets allow you to import photos from these video sharing services. You edit them via the "Properties" sidebar. I am not sure if this is what you had in mind, so let me know if you would like to import images from either Flickr or Smugmug and I will send you the appropriate instructions.

Our shopping cart is one of our newest features. As such it is very basic at this stage and needs to be developed further. I will let our developers know about your request for an option to add smaller images.

The shopping cart is powered by PayPal, but all major credit cards are also accepted. Buyers can choose whether they want to pay by credit card or their PayPal account. The alternative would be to set up your own merchant account which is expensive and complicated.

I hope I have covered some of your concerns. For detailed, step-by-step instructions about other aspects of building your site please check out the tutorials on our support page. (http://www.synthasite.com/support).

Get back to me if you need to discuss anything further.
