Can't "select" my uploaded files to post them to my site.

I cannot click on files (to select them) I've uploaded to my file drive. I have uploaded them properly after clicking the option to upload files stored on the site. Then when I click on the file I want, it does not highlight, so I can't "select" it. I have tried for 4 days now with no success. I've used this for years and this is the first time I've had the problem.

Well, try the picture gallery, or have you done it correct? Any way, good luck!!
