Can't add new widgets to web pages

For the last month or so I've had trouble adding new widgets (text, html, etc.) to my website.

I can select the widget, and drag it to the main web editing window - but I can't drop it (add it) and then everything freezes with my mouse cursor permanently changed to the widget I was trying to add. The only way to unfreeze is to click outside of the browser window. But I still can't add new widgets at all.

Every now and then I've been able to add a new widget to a page I haven't edited in a while, but eventually this problem starts happening again and then I can't add any widgets again.

The problem exists on both Firefox and IE, and on different computers.

Hello Sally,

This is something that Yola are aware of and apparently working on a solution.

At the same time, if you haven't already, it may be worthwhile just checking your more recent additions for RTF text and any third-party widgets that may have incomplete or dodgy code

Hello Sally

I've tested this in your Yola account, and it seems to be specific to your account. I'm able to replicate the error on particular pages of your website, e.g. your home page with the blog and your booknook page. On both pages I can see that custom code has been added. However, when I create a new page and try to add any widget, it works fine. So it's most probably the custom code which is causing the problem. Either the code is invalid, incorrect, or not compatible with the Yola Sitebuilder. You will need review or remove this code.

Please check for me if you stop having problems when you create a new page (Page > New Page), and let me know how that goes.

Thanks for the responses. Is there any way I can check for the code that's causing the problem? Is there any particular type of code that is known to cause issues? I don't recall adding anything new around the time the problem began.

In the meantime I'll try creating a new page and let you know how it goes. Yesterday I was working on the kitchenette page and all was fine for a while before the freezing began. I think it happened after I edited a HTML widget (added coding from Pinterest).
