I have created an HTML widget on one of my pages but now I can't edit it despite being able to do so whilst creating it. The opeing page icon just keeps spinning and a message box keeps appearing "Stop running this script. A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your compute may become unresponsive.

Hi palmeal

It could be that there is a problem with the script you added. It is easy to miss one of the tags, and this would cause your page to break. Could you try deleting the HTML widget and then drop an new one, making extra sure that you copy and paste all the code.

If this does not correct the problem, please email a copy of the HTML you added to support@synthasite.com and we will see if we can figure this out for you.

Best wishes

Hi - Thankfully I had kept a copy of the script elsewhere otherwise I would have lost all of my code. I found an extra tag in the original code and deleted it, dropped it onto a new widget and everything seems to be ok now.
Thanks for your quick reply as it was very much appreciated.

Brilliant! I am glad you managed to debug your code and get it working. Good plan to keep a copy of the script!
