Can't edit my site in Yola sitebuilder as the page won't open

Hi guys,

I am having a problem getting my site to load in the sitebulider. My menu's load but then the rest of the page does not show up. I was using some HTML code from a site called speech agents and I believe this site may have crashed. I managed to get into the first two menus of my site and delete the widgets from speech agent. But when I tried to get to the other pages I could not do the same. I am not 100% sure that this widget is the cause of the problem but I cannot get into the sitebulider and the relveant pages to try and delete it anyway. On my published site, my site information is now not showing up for 75% of my site, the menus come up but nothing else. My site was fine yesterday morning, but now its chaos.

Kind regards

Hello Tim

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this trouble. It does sound like the HTML coding you have added may be the root cause of your problems. Can you please email and we can assist you further. You can Attn it to Sanja.

Hi Sanja and everyone else that replied

Thanks for your comments.

I was able later in the day to get back into the yola sitebuilder site and the pages that were not loading, did eventually load. I deleted the other "speech widgets" as fast as I could from the other pages. My site seems fine now.

Thanks to everyone that posted some tips to help me.

Hopefully I will not have any further problems.

Thanks to Yola for providing a good product and for the support they offer when problems occur.

Kind regards

sometimes you can tend to fix this problem yourself.

Discover WHERE your page stops loading. A lot of time, it'll load widgets completely and the one with the problem won't load. Try opening this same page or site in other browsers. FireFox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc. If your page/site opens in one of these browsers, delete the defective widget and save. Then you SHOULD be able to open the site in the browser you're using. But you'll have to redo the widget. The better alternative if you're good with html is when you can open your site in another browser is to fix the html in the defective widget instead of deleting it entirely.

When you first open the sitebuilder let it fully load as if it doesn't many of the pages will not open! Most of the time its your web browser I suggest web browsers such as google chrome or firefox

Hi Revgreen - just to let you know that Google Chrome is not a Yola-supported browser:
