Cant save or update ANYTHING to my site. :(

I really like yola, but the issues that I am having are really making m ethink twice about using the service. I still have the issue where I can save anything on my website. Just when I thougtht it worked.... I updated all sorts of info and pics and actually saved and published. But the moment a switch to a dfferent page on my site all the ifo disappears! Im so frustrated. I really wish I could call someone and to get assistance. The emails offer little peace of mind. Please help :-/

I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you are having and that the emails you received from our support team have not been of assistance to you. I can assure you that whenever you use this forum, or our support email you are speaking to someone who will do their best to give you assistance. We don't always get it right the first time because we have to figure out what you are experiencing because we can't look directly at your computer. All we can do is ask you questions and try to work it out from there.

Can you tell me:

1) What the name or web address of your site is?
2) What browser and browser version you are using?
3) What page the info was on that has disappeared from your site?

The more specific you can be, the easier it will be for me to help you, which is something I very badly want to do.

The name of my site is epikurious.yolasite.com... the page where the info disappeared is the About Us page it allowed me to save and i clicked to update my site and it still shows nothing after i leave that page, and i still cant see it on my site.... how do i tell what browser and version i am using? I cant save anything on any of the pages.... whenever i try I get the "something has gone wrong" dialog box. I can say that i am using a regular internet explorer... other than that I hope you can forgive me for not being able to get too technical

Thanks khristen. Never mind about the repeat. I also do it sometimes. Ask John ;) So it sounds like your browser is Internet Explorer and that you are experiencing a bug (code error) that we are busy trying to fix. Your detailed information has been very helpful. There are two options here:
1) You can wait until we fix it. Our engineers are working on it right now and we should have an update for you soon. (They are in the room right next to me, working very hard on this exact problem)
2) You can use a different browser to edit your site. It should work in Firefox. However, if you don't have it on your computer you would need to download it.
Tell me which option you prefer and we can take it from there. I am very sorry about all this, it is a very annoying problem!

I am just going to have to wait for the issue to be resolved by your engineers. Will I be notified when the bug is fixed? Can you tell me how long you have had the problem? and if it is a common issue? Thanks so much for all of your help!

This problem was introduced late yesterday. It is a totally new issue that was introduced by accident when another code change was made. As it is new and about to be fixed, I would not say that it is very common at all. It shouldn't take too much longer to fix, and I will notify you on this thread as soon as it is.

I think we have this fixed now. I have tested from my side and it all looks good. Can you log into your account and let us know if you are still seeing the problem or if is working correctly now?
