Hello VegasKush702,

The 60 day hold to transfer domains is mandated by ICANN, the corporation responsible for regulating all domain registrations, and it applies to all domain resellers. It prohibits anyone from transferring a domain until 60 days after registration or transfer. If you registered or transferred your domain within the last 60 days, you won't be able to transfer your domain successfully until this waiting period is over. Again, this is not a rule created by Yola but one that must be observed by all domain resellers.

Regarding your request for a refund on your hosting subscription, we offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Simply submit a request to support here indicating that you wish to cancel and be refunded for your hosting subscription because you are not satisfied.

Hello VK,

It really isn't a scam. The 60 day lockout is controlled by Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) the regulating authority for domain processing. All hosts(registrars) are limited by this 60 day lockout. Policy on Transfer of Registrations between Registrars

Yola have a tutorial Transfer your domain to a new domain registrar which includes the para:
...Option two: Transferring your domain away
It is important to note that domain registrars require a mandatory 60-day waiting period between purchase and transfers. This is something beyond our control. If it is less than 60 days since you purchased the domain from Yola, you will not be able to transfer it until that period has elapsed. ...

The Yola CS people will call you back when they are on duty and generally within 24 hours for premier subscribers Telephone support is available on weekdays from 8am - 6pm EST (12:00noon - 10pm GMT)

I know that they will endeavour to help you with this issue and will likely offer alternative solutions to your problem.
