Can't upload photos/images after repeated attempts.

I have tried repeatedly to upload a photo but it freezes at the browse button and doesn't advance. The file is small (well under parameters) and I tried waiting longer and doing it other times. (Solutions I read in previous responses.) Is there anything else you recommend, or which might be happening. It has always worked fine from this same computer in the past.

Hello Ann,

Sorry your having this problem. Could you please try to clear you cache and cookies and try again. If it still doesn't work after that, what browser and operating system are you using?

Hm...
Yola's file uploader is a flash one , and there are no ftp access.
Can you answer these questions ?

What is the file type (ext , which like .Txt , or .Mp3 ? )

are you using an administrator account ?

Check whether your file in computer isn't using by another person or program.

I have tried using both aol/internet explorer, and firefox browsers. The files I'm trying to upload are simple jpegs from my standard pictures file. I also tried clearing the cache and cookies, but no change.

Now what??

Oh, bad news.
Every server uses a special method like mimes to manage file types.
Can you please tell me in where yola freezes ? .(it may be in upload progress bar , or in 'requesting image data' progress.)

there is another way.
Go to file manager.
Create a sub folder in resources folder.
Click upload files.
Choose more than a couple of .Jpg images. (not jpeg , please )
and then upload.

I'm sure that this is quite frustrating. Thank you for trying to clear your cache and cookies. I would like to try and get this resolved. Would you mind trying a couple more things for me?

1. Update to the latest version of Flash: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewC...

2. Try making sure you have the latest browser version

3. Try using a friend's computer and see if you're still experiencing the same results.

Please let me know how this goes.
