Hi team,

I've come to do some work on my website and can no longer upload youtube videos which is essential for me. The instruction video gives instructions for a layout that is different to my account. I've uploaded lots of others in the past and now I can't get it to work. Any ideas for what I might be doing wrong or if it's a system error?

Thanks heaps look forward to hearing back so I can work on the site again:-)

Really enjoy using my Yola site in general, first problem I've ever had.

Hi Benji,

Thanks for your email. I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with adding a YouTube video to your site. Please try following these steps:

1. Open the "Multimedia" folder on the right hand side of the screen, and drag and drop a Youtube or Metacafe Widget onto your page.
2. In the dialog box that opens, paste the URL for the Youtube or Metacafe video that you would like to use.
3. Click on "Save".

A video will then be embedded in your web page.

If your YouTube video won't load, here are some steps that may help:

1. Make sure that you have copied the whole URL for the video from your browser window and pasted it into the dialog box. Do not paste the HTML embed code, only the URL visible in the address bar in your browser.
2. If it is one of your own videos, please make sure that there are no privacy settings on it in your YouTube account. If there are, then Yola will not be able to call up the video.

I hope this is helpful, Benji. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
