I want to use the website with the canada backround but I wanted everything on there except the canada background. Is there any way I can remove that back ground?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the style Kid's Corner does not have an editable background. You may want to look at another style that has a changeable background, possibly one of those would work better for you.

Here is a link to the Yola Style Guide which will help you choose a style!

Hi Daniella

There is actually a way around this!

Drag an HTML widget over and place at the top of your page. Then, add this code:

<script language="JavaScript1.2">

/* Watermark Backgound Image Script- © Dynamic Drive (www.dynamicdrive.com) For full source code, 100's more DHTML scripts, and TOS, visit dynamicdrive.com */

if (document.all||document.getElementById) document.body.style.background="url('resources/dandelions2c.jpg') white center no-repeat fixed"

</script>

change the background:url to your own background image url.

Please let me know if you need further clarification. =)

Another workaround, is too use this bit of css:

body {
background: url(resources/.jpg) top left;
}

Paste this inside a html widget. This overides the default css. Just change the url and position to suit you. Though, editing the templates css is not recommended by Yola staff, so use at your own risk.

Thanks for sharing that Connor. Just make sure that your image is large enough to cover the whole background or else you will see it tile.
