Changing colors on my site

How can I change the color from Green to let's say blue? I would really like to have the color blue because it is soothing and just happens to be my favorite color.

Would I have to put CSS code on each page or can I control the CSS from a separate CSS file so that when I make a change it will affect the entire site?

Hi there Randy,
Are you wanting to change the background color on your site?

You can change the background color of your site as follows:

1. Click on "Edit Page Design" and then "Format Background".
2. A dialog box will open, click on the down-arrow next to "Background Fill" and the color picker will open.
3. Select the color you would like to use and click on "OK". If you know the Hex value of the color you would like to use, enter it into the space provide here's a link to a Hex color generator .

I hope this helps. If not, please let us know.

Thanks Jeremy but it is the color of the links. They are green underlined. I want to make them black with no underline. Also, the green underline in the main navbar, I would like to change to blue.

Hi there Randy,

Unfortunately your menu is linked to your style and you can't edit it that much.

I would suggest either changing your style or creating your own menu. In your case It seems you are wanting something very specific and I would suggest creating your own menu using some HTML.

You can take your pages out of your menu (click on the "Edit Menu" button and drag the pages from "in menu" to "out menu" - this will hide your default menu).

Then create your own page links using images or text and place where you'd like this new menu to show up. This can be done by adding text, highlighting it and clicking on the link button on the text toolbar above.

You can then link your text or image to the specific page.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Jeremy!!

I was also thinking of creating a custom menu that looks similar to the one I hae in my current theme in case I have to implement a two or three level menu structure.

Do have any recommendations of sites whre I can find menus similar to the one I have now?
