Changing Donate Button Currency?...

Hi,
I have added several for sale items onto my webpage, and I have also added a donate button. The problem I have is that I can select the currency for my sale items as £(GBP) but when the donate button is clicked it opens the paypal donate page in $(USD). Is there any way to change this to GBP as the majority of people I expect to donate will be in the UK? Thanks for your help! Dave

Hi Dave

Sadly the built in Donate button does not allow for changing currencies but if you follow these steps you can make what you want happen quite easily...

1) Log into your Paypal account here. https://www.paypal.com
2) Click on the "Merchant services" tab
3) Mid way down and in the middle click on the "Donate" link in the Create Buttons section
4) Choose button type and enter payment details and currency.
5) Click "Save changes"
6) Click the "Select code" button and right click on the highlighted code then click "Copy"
7) Paste that code in an HTML widget on the page you wish to have your donate button located.

Happy site building
Ed

Thanks Ed, I have one more question.... My new button is left aligned rather than centre aligned in its box. What do I need to add to the code to get it central? Thanks in advance!

Simple...

1) Drag a Widgetbox widget onto your page in the place of the HTML widget and paste the code into the editor popup.

Widgetbox widgets automatically are center justified without the need to alter the code or the use of a two column widget...
