Hi hpmagic,

We do not have the option to remove the footer at this time and we understand the importance of making this choice available. We are working on the legal and technical requirements to add the removal of the footer for a small fee in an upcoming release.

If you would like to be notified of this when it comes available, please subscribe to our newsletter (this link tells you how http://www.yola.com/customer-support/....

Please come back to us if you have any other questions.

Yes i agree, It isn't very professional, but if it wasn't there you probably wouldn't know about it.

Its a promotion footer, If you love yola why remove it?
You want to share Yola with others don't you? =)

Sharing is caring.

I do not mind Yola being on there, but I build websites for a living and it would be nice to be able to show that recognition also.

@Christina - we understand this need and we will be releasing a new feature very soon that is going to give you just what you are looking for. You will be able to add your own information to the footer, and keep the Yola credit or pay to remove it. We realize that some people want to remove the Yola credit, while others just want the option to include their own footer information. We believe that the new footer feature will meet both these needs.

Thanks Monique. That is good to know. I am truly blessed to have found Yola, I've used so many website hosts and builders that are not at all what they claim to be. Thanks for everything that you and all of the Yola staff do to keep this a great place to host websites.

here's another with good views from both side

http://getsatisfaction.com/yola/topic...

Question?
If you had tires on your car from "brand a" and they are the better tires around and all of your friend had "brand x", not so good, would you tell your friend of your "brand a" tire or would you remove the name from the tire and say nothing to your friends or anyone else?

I'm glad someone with a web-site left the former name SynthaSite, now YOLA, on the bottom of page. If it wasn't for those people I would not have found YOLA.

Hi there Hpmagic

You will be happy to know that the option to remove the Yola Link at the bottom of your page has now been implemented. You can remove the Yola Link (footer) from all the sites in your account for 9.95 USD per year.

For more information, please see: http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/per...

Please note: if the style has a credit to the designer, this cannot be removed due licensing requirements. To see styles that do not have design credit, see: http://www.yola.com/yola-style-guide
