I'd really help me organize my business if I was able to check my Yola Mail from my Motorola Droid. Can some one tell me if this is possible, and if so how to do it. Thanks.

Hello Chris,

I have not tested the following (I don't have Yola mail) so it may not work but from what I have read, I think it will: I have set up other pop3 email addresses on my Droid and it appears that Yola is similar:

On the phone:
Username: your full email address

Incoming settings:
Pop3 or IMAP server:
Port: 995 (not sure about port number)

Outgoing settings:
SMTP server:
Port: 587 (not sure about port number)

Here is a link with some general email info under section 3.

Hi Chris,

Yola don't have a specific instruction for the Droid but the settings names are quite intuitive on the Droid.
You need to extract the equivalent parameters from your mail account and general mail settings from Yola. You can extract other settings from say the Yola Mail-MS Outlook set up. This gives you instructions for identifying your servers and ports to use.

The Motorola requirements are given here: https://motorola-global-portal.custhe...

There may be an issue on the setup depending on the ISP or telco you use for your phone connection and it is discussed in the Motorola reference above.

I recently purchased an Android 4.0 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet PC N8005 by which I'd like to receive my emails from my mailbox under Yola account. But I can not set up respective email account in my tablet pc because none of the existing options , POP3, IMAP, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, works properly and eventually an error message saying "can't connect to server or server does not respond" comes up everytime I try. My hotmail and gmail accounts have been automatically set up, with no apparent problems at all. Could you please check and let me know how I could resolve this problem to receive my emails under Yola account. Thanks and best regards. Fatih Erkmen
