Choice of displaying Yola link? :3

I know it sounds like a strange thing, but I was wondering if there could be a choice to choose different versions of the Yola Link on our sites. I love the Yola link honestly, because I love this company and its ever-listening employees, and I really love to give credit where its due.

The reason I ask this is because the Yola link's new look, in my opinion, clashes with my personal site.

I loved the old Yola text-link because it integrated well with my site and looked really nice. I have nothing against the new Yola link at all, and that it looks really great, but my artistic side finds that it clashes slightly with certain layouts.

Customisation is one of my favourite things of this place, and I feel bad asking for more... I'm sorry for this strange idea that I thought of it offends!

Hi Taralyn

Thank you for this feedback. Here is the challenge we face:

1) We have given people the ability to edit the background of their sites. In order to make this possible, we need a way for the Yola link to display consistently against an editable background.
2) It is extremely complicated to maintain different links for different sites and would take quite a lot of engineering effort. So while we have given you the option to remove this link, we did not see a viable way to allow you to customize it.

Can you tell me a little more about how you feel it clashes with your particular site? To me the colors seem to blend really well with your chosen colors and style. I would be interested in hearing more about what bothers your artistic side as you look at this link against your site.

We really appreciate it when people take the trouble to explain how feature changes affect them, whether positively or negatively! Thank for taking the time to post this. I will make sure our developers are aware of your feedback.

Thank you for replying!
And I do feel awful for asking so much... I understand that coding and programming is difficult to maintain, especially on such wide scale, and I asking this really made me hesitant.

How I see as it clashes is a little picky and odd...
Two things: I have a thing for consistency, and issues with the colour pink. I understand the colour choice completely, but pink... I dunno. I've had problems with that colour ever since birth. It is like a pet peeve, no? I dunno how to put it so people could understand... As another thing, the reason I feel as it clashes a bit is because I'm into simplicity, and that beveled gradient and drop shadow- maybe I just need to get adjusted a little. After hearing your comment that it does blend well with my site I took a second glance...

No need to feel bad for asking! That is what this forum is here for. Thanks for the added details on what disturbs you about the design. I have asked for other people from the company to take note of this thread and comment. We do want to hear what customers have to say, so keep the feedback coming!

Hi Tarlyn!

We did take a very careful approach when considering how to represent the Yola brand in a subtle way that would be consistent across our users sites.

I agree with Monique, however, that I think it actually looks pretty integrated into your site's design and not at all clashing!
