Hi Mark,

Hint: use Squeaky Clean template. It's the same without the banner and saves the hassel of having to remove it. (Not quite: the nav is Right aligned with sq clean, but easily fixed if need be)

The footer: What specifically are you referring to. (This may be redundant when you change to Squeaky Clean)

Hi Thanks for this helpful info.
I have changed to the Squeaky Clean and I have placed my page on the home page but how do I remove the "Heading Space" at the top where the heading was after I removed my heading name.

Thanks
Mark

You are moving well.
Sorry for the following conditional answer to follow but it depends on what you wish to place there to some extent.

The easiest way is to use the Text widget. This allows you to place text or HTML. The trick then is to use the GUI Margin settings. The top setting is the vertical displacement for the widget contents. Using a negative number allows you to move the contents up and even into the space that was (or is) virtually reserved for your heading.

The second option that I have used is to use the heading space as is and insert a graphic, typically a logo, into the header thingy. You do that with HTML placed into the header facility. Caution with either of these two tricks. Do it on a test page first using local HTML or inline CSS only because it is possible to send it too high up the page and out of reach or to forget to close a tag and have Comic Sans being your text style in puce forever more. Very difficult to get it back if that happens.
