Quick question for the guru's out there; I know whow to link an image to a page (internal or external), but I would like to have the image click fire-up the clients email editor with prepopulated address.

1. Is it possible?

2 If so how?

The image in question is the QR-Code V-Card on one of my sites home page.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Rob.B.

In the same manner that you would use the Link Editor to add links to your pictures, you can add a link to your email. It's the 3rd option on your Link Editor.

When your visitor clicks on your image, then they will be taken to their email client with your address already pre-populated in the address bar.

I hope this answers your question.

Please let me know if further clarification is needed.

Hi Rob,
this is really easy to do in Yola and in HTML!

HTML Version:
<!--<a href="mailto:youremail@yourprovider.com"><img src="path to your image" alt="alt text" /></a>--> (Remove <!-- -->)

Yola Version
Highlight text, click link button, type email into 'Email' box, click OK

OR

Click on the decided image, click 'Properties' in the sidebar, Click 'Choose a link', type email into 'Email' box, click OK

Hope this helps!

Thanks both, to be honest I had not noticed the 3rd option, but I will have a play with the HTML solution as that way I can improve my meager web skills:)
