Club web site - someone else manages it but I'm liable for renewal? How can I check that it will not be auto renewed?

I set up a site for a club a couple of years ago and 2 of us had joint access to keep the site up to date. I am no longer involved and have passed on the renewal notice to the club but I'm worried that it may be set up for auto renewal using my details (which I do not want). The club have since changed all passwords and mail accounts so I can't access the details.

I have heard of others being pursued by hosting compaines when they have not gone ahead with auto renewal and even of legal action being taken for "non-payment". I want to make sure that I avoid this.

Thanks

Hello Sue,

You will need to send a message to Yola CS through their Contact Form linked to in the footer of this page.

Thanks Gop. I have sent a couple of messages and got the "we're too busy to reply to everyone so look at the forum" response, but they may still come through. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem - with a resolution. Thanks for taking the time v

Hi Sue,

What's your club's website address? I'll look up the account and be sure it's routed properly. Also in the future if you select "Questions about packages or pricing" from the support form, it would ensure you are routed to representatives who could assit you.

Many thanks Laura. The address is westsussexlurcherclub.co.uk

The new team changed the email and password so I have no access. I'd be grateful if you cancel any auto renew and send the renewal notification to the new admin email that they use. Thanks again. Sue

Hello Sue

I wasn't able to find any e-mail from you under the login e-mail for this account in our system. I presume this is due to the change done by the new team, and that you're using a different e-mail address.

Would it be possible to send us your request using the new e-mail address? We need to make sure that only the account owner which is the owner of the login e-mail requests the cancellation of auto-renewal. As the account status is still Yola Bronze, an e-mail sent from the current account login e-mail should get routed correctly in our system for further assistance.

If you need to e-mail us from a different e-mail address, please choose the subject which Laura advised above to make sure it gets through to us. Thanks.
