I need a comic navigation tool that works similarly to the way Comicpress works. Does anyone know where or how to do this?

Hello halfbakedtoons

It is possible to allow people to browse your site by clicking on a "next" link or button on your page, instead of using the automatically generated menu. You can achieve this by using the Yola text and link editors to create this type of navigation for your site.

These are the steps:

1. Create the pages for your site.
2. Click on "Edit menu" (below the page tab) and drag all except your first (main) page "out of the menu".
3. At the bottom of each of your pages, drag and drop a text widget onto your page.
4. Add your link text or image. For example, you could have a link that says "next". You could also include a "first" and "last" link, linking to the first and last pages on your list.
5. Highlight your link text or image and click "insert link" on the text editing toolbar.
6. A dialog box will open up with all the link options. Click on "Page" and you will see a list the pages on your site. Select the one you want to link to.
7. To test that the link is working, save and preview your page.

Repeat this process for all your pages and your visitors will then be able to browse your pages in order by clicking on your "next" links, like flipping through the pages of a book.

We have an excellent tutorial which will step you through the process of creating sub-pages, here is a link: Creating Sub-Pages Tutorial.

This actually is not what I was looking for. I want to be able to post my daily comics on one page, showing the current one first, and be able to navigate to the earlier one or the next one without leaving the current page. If you look at the way Comicpress does this you will know what I mean. I'm looking for a way were I don't have to create a million pages.

Here's a suggestion I had for someone else on another thread--just an idea:
how about something like the slideshow generator here: http://www.ricocheting.com/js/slide2....
You can put in any size image so you could have a page for each comic say for example "Peanuts" then have this slideshow of each strip of Peanuts for a week, or month or however many you have. With this slideshow you can have any size image. See it in action on my site: http://www.wolfmediaplus.com/portfolio in a small size then see it in a large size here: http://testvillage.yolasite.com/comic...

This is closer to what I want. What I'm really looking for is something where I can preload upcoming strips and have them only appear when the new date comes up.
