Does anyone know of a good example of a conference website created by Yola which integrated abstract submission?

Hello Angela,

I haven't noticed such a Yola built website but I think it sounds very feasible with tools associated with Yola. The abstract I presume is not a real issue if i'm thinking about this correctly. Submissions could be received by email or better yet to an online document facility such as Google Docs. This would allow for mixed doc types including text docs pdf docs spreadsheets etc. certainly conferencing on the documents with the ability to change the document or rather enhance the document is very feasible. You can set authorities or ability for nominated members to change the documents and the updated doc is always available for viewing. It also allows you to control the participants accessing the documents. Finalised drafts could be displayed on a Yola website to keep it streamlined.

Live dialogue could be effected by the use of an embeddable forum or in fact here on Get Satisfaction which is a very transparent and reasonably intuitive forum. It's easy to set up your own Get satisfaction free until you may wish to enhance the facilities. You would have to work out the management as far as documenting dialogue but I think workable.

Just thoughts Angela and I think it could evolve into an extremely interesting model. I wish you great luck. Identify the tools you want, collect them and put them together on a site or two.
