Hi, I have a website with Yola and would like to know how to make a CNAME or A record point to an external website. I would like to link to my DDNS domain so putting in an IP is not an option. I have read through the knowledgebase and nothing seems to work. I have done all the related things that are suggested in the knowledgebase. Please help.
Thankyou

Okay, so my website's URL is www.codefreakc.com. I am linking to a DDNS address which I am not at liberty to release, for the sake of this situation, I will call the DDNS address me.example.com. So what I want to do is make it so when I type ddns.codefreakc, com into my browsers address bar, it will send me to me.example.com(DDNS URL).
Yes the domain is Yola, but whenever I do ANYTHING at all in the DNS settings, I get 'some of the values you entered are invalid'.

Hi Bob,

It's a bit difficult to help you when you aren't able to tell us exactly what you are entering in the fields.

If I'm understanding correctly, you would like to make a subdomain from your domain name. And you would like that subdomain to redirect to another external subdomain - is that correct? If so and it's not working, feel free to send an email to support@yola.com with the exact changes that you would like to make (then it won't be on the public forum) and I will try to make them for you. Please mark the email for my attention (Marije).
