Conflicts with google chrome

I set up google apps so I could use specific email addresses associated with my website ie: info@mydomain.com. I also added some of the features that google apps had to offer ie: calendar, etc.. I also couldn't access them once I initiated them until I downloaded chrome. I downloaded chrome and now I go straight to the log in page on google instead of that special string address they give you to sign in google apps. NICE!

I keep reading where yola isn't compatible with chrome, yet some of the the widgets recommended for mail, calendars and other applications are in google apps, which seems to require downloading chrome. I'm just a tad confusted (sp on purpose) as to why I have to download chrome when I can access google without it and yola is recommending these applications. Now that I have download it (chrome) if I use that to go into my google apps and make changes will they transfer effortless into yola's site developer snythasite (which btw is awesome!). Or is it better to access google apps without chrome and make the changes that way. I am having so much fun learning all this.

Sign me confusted but very pleased with YOLA and Synthasite!

Hello Hatcheck Girl

I apologize for the late reply. Google Apps is actually a 3rd party widget and does not interact with Yola Sitebuilder directly. So, if you wish to use Google Chrome for accessing Google Apps - that is totally okay! We just don't recommend using Google Chrome to make edits on your site.

I hope that answers your question. If you need any further assistance, please let me know.

AHHHH I see so basically I don't really need chrome at all, it just makes using google apps easier when I use say their calendar or email?
