confused about billing for bronze, two websites and their domain names

Hi,

I'm confused by your email requests for payments. I begain with one website, gramaticadesign.com, with a registered domain name and the Yola tag removed. I renewed this in 2010 for two years, and that period is coming to an end. Since then, I have also paid $12 for domain name registration.

I started another website, exgramaticus, and I hope the domain is registered.

I have received emails recently to pay $36 to continue my gramaticadesign domain registration (no time period stipulated), $50 to continue my bronze account (I assume including both websites, and no time period stipulated). Now I've received a second email to renew my domain registration for gramaticadesign for $24, and no time period stipulated. Wasn't domain registration $12 per year in 2010 for gramaticadesign? Are these bills overlapping? Do I pay $36 or $24 for its registration? And what about domain name registration for exgramaticus? I assume paying the $50 (annual?) bronze level service fee does not include domain registration.

Thanks for helping me understand this.

Hello Erik

I'm sorry if our e-mails have confused you.

I have checked your Yola account in our system, and I can confirm that your domain gramaticadesign.com will expire soon (this October). Also, your hosting package Yola Bronze will expire at the same time.

To keep using any domain with Yola, you will need to have a hosting package. You can renew your domain gramaticadesign.com and Yola Bronze in one step:
  1. Log into to your My Yola.

  2. Click on "Domains".

  3. Click on the "Renew" button next to your domain gramaticadesign.com.

This will take you to the payment screen where you can see that your Yola Bronze hosting package is added automatically. If you'd like to keep Yola Mail with your domain, please leave the Yola Mail checkbox checked. If you'd like to have domain privacy, leave the Privacy checkbox checked. You will be able to select the registraion period of your domain. You will then see the order total in the bottom right corner before you send off your payment according to your selections.

You can select different registration periods for your domain. Your hosting package, however, only runs for a year and needs to be renewed yearly. Once you have done your purchase, your hosting package subscription should be set to auto-renewal, so you won't need to worry about remembering to renew it every year.

Your domain exgramaticus.com is only due to renewal in February next year. As it is set to auto-renewal, you won't need to do anything to renew it. You can check this under My Yola > Domains as well. You can check your hosting package under My Yola > Account.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, and I'll be happy to help you.
