Constant problems with photo uploads

Over the past few weeks I'm running into the same problem over and over. The sitebuilder hangs up all the time when uploading new photos to Yola and selecting uploading pictures from Yola to my site. It either gets stuck in an hourglass loop or freezes all-together. I have to close the website and browser totally, start fresh and hope that it doesn't keep occuring.

Then sometimes is appears to load but the image is corrupted. I have had where - image looks like it is blank, turns black, is color reversed... etc.

I have limited time to work on my site to finally get it published, I spend most of that time troubleshooting issues with picture loads. Since this is a personal site it's photo heavy and this is extremly frustrating. Please help!

Hello jenny.steve.1030,

What you have described is frustrating. I haven't experienced the same issues but have hit delayed uploading or no-uploading at times. i generally find that if I try again sometime later (gen not weekends) then it comes good.

I also find that clearing the cache often helps with the uploading aspect and that image size kept to reasonable limits tends to help. eg: image sizes of about 100 kb or less.

I am certainly not saying that this strategy will be your solution but it is a good starting point. I really hope that this resolves for you quite quickly and it becomes just history rarely repeated.

Hi jenny.steve.1030,

I'm sorry to hear about the frustration you've experienced. We have seen some other reports along these lines and they are most often addressed by the advice Gop has given you above. That said, we do recognize this as an area for improvement in our Sitebuilder and will continue to strive for improvement internally as well.

Can you please try out Gop's suggestions and let us know how it goes for you?
