I recently set up a site for my mom, which is myhappybirdy.ca and because i set it up and was editing it, it was all under my email. I had since changed the email to her email under Account profile, as well as the contact us forum (edit/settings on contact widget) But all the messages from the contact form are still going to MY email address and not the new one, and it's been a few days since all the changes were made, can someone help me?

Hi Joe,

Can you just re-check the settings again on your contact form widget to see that it in fact did accept the change and hasn't reverted to the old?

It's got me tricked.

It's either a very simple oversight, a conflict buried somewhere or there's a problem with the system? {or none of the above :) }

Joe, may I ask if you have another copy of the form on your site somewhere. Thinking that maybe you used a test page to try things out, like I tend to do. If so...?conflict?

Nope unfortunately i don't. It's a very simple site, and only one contact form :( I'm as confused as you on this one.

Joe,

A workaround for the interim maybe to create a similar form with http://jotform.com.

It's a reliable form builder, easy to master, familiar and free. You can either host the form on your site by copying and pasting the code or you can simply link to the hosted form on jotform's server.

Hello Joe

I have tested your account and I temporarily replaced your mother's e-mail address in the Form Settings by my personal Yola e-mail address. Then I re-published your site, and after waiting a few moments, sent a test message via your contact form. I successfully received the message.

I have changed the Form Settings e-mail back to your mother's e-mail, republished, and sent another test message via the form. This time I didn't get the form submission which is exactly what I expected. The question now is: Did you mother get that test message? Please ask her and let me know on this thread if it should still not have worked. Thanks.
