Hello Adil

Can you please paste the HTML code in this thread so that I can have a look to see where the problem is?

I am wondering whether you have tried to use the Form Widget in Yola. If you use that form, then the responses will be emailed to the same email that you use to log in to your Yola site.

If you would like more information on how that works, please have a look at the Yola Form Widget tutorial on our website.

If you still wish to use the form you created, please paste the code here.

Thank you
Nazlie

Thank you for this information. Did you create this form using the Form Widget? If you have, then the emails that you receive when people fill in the form, should automatically be sent to the email address you use when you log in to Yola.
If this is a form you created using HTML, then please post the HTML code here, so that I can take a closer look at it.
Thanks
Nazlie

Hi Adil

Thank you for pasting the text you put into your HTML editor.

I see that you have added only regular text and not HTML code.If you would like to design a form using HTML, then there are some excellent online tutorials that can help you add the form. I have listed a few below:

If you have a look at the links above, you will see that the HTML code you need to add to the editor, must look something like this:

< form >favorite color : < input name="color" >< /form >

As I have mentioned before, you may want to use the existing Yola Form Widget to design you forms. (see the link for a tutorial).

I hope this helps to give you a better understanding of HTML and creating online forms.

If you need any more help with this, please let us know.

Hello Adil

Is there a particular reason why you are wanting to create your own form? I would strongly suggest that you take advantage of the Yola Form Widget or the Wufoo Form Widget (both available in the "Forms & Appointments" folder).

The way the email link functions is when it is clicked it will open a blank email with your email address already inserted in the person's email client. So, it would appear that for you, your default email client is MS Outlook. This will be different for each person. For me, it is Mac Mail. For the email link to work properly the person's email client has to be configured properly.

This is why we suggest using the Yola Form or Wufoo form as these do not require the person's email client to be configured properly in this manner, and when they fill out the contact form and click "Submit" it will submit directly to your email.

Here is a link with more information on this option: Creating a Contact Form.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.

Hey! This has helped a bunch of peole add custom forms, and customer acquisition enhanced forms. ( Once per session pop outs, floating tabs, newsletter subscriptions, Mailchimp, Sendy and Constant Contact Sync, WYSIWYG form builder). Its a cloud based lead management software and form creator, and it can be easily integrated into Yola Sites.
