Our site is fully in Spanish and includes an online shop. I'm struggling to convert the standard PayPal buttons to Spanish. I have seen the instructions on how to do this but all I seem able to do is create an additional 'Add to Cart' button on the page, not replace the ones that are automatically generated in the catalogue. Do I need to edit something within my PayPal account so that the buttons on the website are in Spanish AND, when a customer makes a purchase, the PayPal site is also in Spanish? If you want to take a

Hola Paul,

Adding buttons customized on PayPal and using the Online Store widgets on Yola are two separate things. Currently the Online Store widgets on Yola are only available in English.

It would be great if I could find a link on for more information, but I don't speak Spanish! The equivalent link on the PayPal's US site is

You will be able to customize the buttons you would like to add to your site, copy the HTML code provided and then follow these steps:
1. Drag-and-drop an HTML widget from the sidebar on the right onto your page (the icon for this is a blue sphere).
2. An HTML editor will open up that will allow you to write or paste your code (use right-click > paste or ctrl-V to paste).
3. When you are done, click "OK" and your HTML will be displayed on the page.

Your customers will click on the "Buy now" or "Add to Cart" buttons and be directed to PayPal to complete the transaction.

I hope that helps - please let us know if you need any further information or help.

Thanks for the answer but this doesn't work (as far as I can see). Creating the HTML in PayPal and then pasting it into my site does create a Spanish button. However it doesn't replace the English language buttons that are in the catalogue, it just produces an additional button. I know this can be done because I have done it in the past. Unfortunately I can't remember how I did it!

Would you remember the place where you found the PayPal button? Would you have created it yourself?

It's a relatively simple task to pull an alternative button into the display.

happy to give you some direction on this as are others. Similar things have been done a lot here.

If it's the whole widget then that's a bit different but Boomer has just stepped me through a simialr excercise. If you can locate the Spanish payPal site that would make it easier. Good to know there's always an alternative.

In the end I worked out that the way to do it is to NOT use the Online Shop function in Yola. I created a blank page and then, in PayPal created a Spanish version of the Add to Cart to View Cart buttons. On the Add to Cart button I created a Drop Down menu for the four different colours of product we sell. To see an example, go to this link.
