I have duplicated pages before and the anchor links work on the new pasted page.
I am trying to do that today and I can not make it work.
What am I doing wrong?

To add to the original question....

The new page is http://www.ka-ron.com/the-journey-jan.... but when you hit the anchor link on the page it goes to http://www.ka-ron.com/the-journey-mon... AND BE HAPPY

Now on the html for the anchor link it says LIVE-LOVE-LAUGH AND BE HAPPY

so my question is....why does the anchor link go to a different page?

Hello rjk1@live.ca

When you duplicate a page that contains anchor links within the page and you duplicate that page, the original anchor links should be copied over to the new page without any change. The expected behaviour would be that they wouldn't automatically change to the URL of the new page. I wonder how it could have worked for you in the past. Normally you will need to manually customize the anchor links on a duplicated page.

I think, I figured out what I did.
I had not copied the pages, but created a new page every month for the newsletter.
I had just left them out of the navigation.
When I put them into an archive they were not copied.
My mistake....
I see where I can copy the body of the newsletter and make changes to the body, but the links have to be done separately each time.

To me it is just as easy to make a new page each month for the newsletter.

Thanks for all the help.
