Hi JAMAICANME CRAZY

Its quite simple to save a page as another name...

A) In your editor and with the page you wish to copy open Click the "Save" Button in your toolbar
B) Click "Save page as" in the drop down menue
C) Name your page something new and choose whether or not you wish it to be shown in the menu
D) Click "OK"

It really is that easy...

Keep in mind that when saving your page sometimes is gets all scrambled up with content shifting from top to bottom but with a little moving widget around you should get it looking the same as before. ( I saved on my index page and everything from the top went to the bottom and everything on the bottom went to the top) Weird huh???

Happy site building
Ed

Sorry -- that answer does NOT work. That method will save a duplicate of the page *INI* the current site only (as another page). As far as I can tell, there is no way to accomplish what the OP wants -- unfortunately. There's also no way to save it as a template either.

Now what?

Hi TW,

Using 'Save As' only saves a duplicate of the page in the site that you're working on. You can save as many duplicates of a page as you like. Unfortunately there's isn't a way to save a copy of a page in another one of your sites.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

And there's no way to save it as a template either, correct?

So the "answers" above are basically bogus (will not accomplish what the OP wanted) -- right?

You could create a template page with the basic content (text widgets, two-column widgets, Google Analytics etc) and then save duplicates of the page in the site.

I'm not sure what the OP wants to accomplish - perhaps you could give us more detail?

I think it's obvious -- and it's an obvious flaw in the overall system. One should be able to easily copy an entire site, and "save as" another (new) site (name). That's a very basic function lots of people need.

Hi TW

From what I can tell your question is different from that of the original question ok the thread. Berrie wanted to know how to save a copy of a page. You want to know how to save a copy of a site. The answers on this thread are not bogus. They are answers to a different question. I will be sure to let our developers know that many users require the ability to save a copy of a site!

Thanks!

Really, that is a very basic function that should be doable in your system. Here's why it would be useful... People could make a site they liked, then "clone" it quickly + easily, then tweak the clone -- thus, they could crank out sites that were unique but the same -- basically they could create a template site.

I know that would sure be useful for me. I do not want to have to start *from scratch* every time I want to make a new site that is pretty much the same as a site I have already spent time making. It shouldn't need to be that way!

Thanks.
